Statement of Qualifications

JG Management Services, Inc. (JGMS) and the S.M. Stoller Corporation are both environmental consulting firms and long-standing DOE contractors. In addition, JGMS is an 8(a), SDB firm certified by the SBA. The GSS team provides qualified personnel in the full range of environmental and engineering specialties essential to strong NEPA analyses. Recognizing that strong analyses is only the first step, we also support our technical experts with strong document production capabilities, including technical editors, graphic artists, public affairs support staff, and database and IT specialists. In addition to JGMS and Stoller, the GSS team also includes SWCA Environmental Consultants (SWCA), a national leader in natural and cultural resource management and environmental planning. With more than 40 offices nationwide, the GSS team is positioned to provide NEPA support wherever needed.

We offer a team that has completed or made significant contributions within the past five years to dozens of task-order type contracts, including those that have included tasks for EISs, EAs, and environmental reports (ERs). For example, GSS team members prepared the EIS considering cleanup options for a 130-acre uranium mill tailings pile at DOE’s Moab, Utah site. Completion of the final EIS involved cooperation between 12 principal stakeholders, including federal, state, local, and tribal agencies.

Chris Clayton, DOE’s Office of Policy and Site Transition stated:

“Overall, the report was excellent and extremely thorough. It is one of the best EISs that I have reviewed.”
